Wobble –n-Leap

This is the very first project that we did when we joined the AT&T Imagineers and one of the easiest. When we first constructed this project we started with a simple base which was a fruit basket and used other materials such as tape, brads, hot glue guns, wires, wire strippers, a motor and markers. First you place the markers any where as long as they are stable. Then you use tape to hold the markers in place. Only use glue for your final result. Next connect the wires to the motor and wires to the battery and brads. Now this is the fun part. Once the scribbler is working correctly then take a stick of glue (optional) and off center it on the motor. This will cause it to rock, skip, leap or move weirdly. After that I was finished but ready to make my scribbler more difficult. Instead of a fruit basket I used a spool and instead of a glue stick I made an object that looks like an "I" which was made out of Popsicle sticks. Most people asked me why did I choose the spool and I tell them I chose the spool simply because I am always up for a challenge. There isn't anything that I would change or do different. This was a great starter project.

UP, UP ~N~ AWAY

This project is about a Compressed Air Rocket Launcher. When we assembled the rocket launcher we started with PVC pipes, screws, motors, bolts, primer, batteries, wires, brads, wire strippers, tape and wood to make a stand. Once our rockets were built we built a power stitch out of an Altoid box. The rocket launcher is long and perpendicular similar to a angle or the letter "L", at the end or the back of the rocket is a valve where we connect the air pump. Once you start pumping air into the rocket launcher the air is held and compressed in the bottom part of the PVC pipe. Then you push the red button on the power switch and the air is rapidly released. The hardest thing that some of us struggled with was when we didn’t pay close attention to the directions and put the screws and bolts on wrong and doing this was very hard to correct. If I had to change one thing it would be to listen and pay more attention to the directions given. Overall this was the most liked project for us all.

CRAZY LAND
WHEN I FIRST HEARD ABOUT THIS PROJECT I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE HARD, BUT I QUICKLY FOUND OUT THAT I WOULD COME TO ENJOY IT TOWARD THE END. I TOOK A LARGE MOVING BOX AND CUT THE FLAPS OFF OF IT AND THEN CUT IT INTO HALF. I CHOSE THE MOTIONS UP AND DOWN AND BACK AND FOWARD. MY DESGIN FOR MY MOTIONS WERE A HAND PRINT AND 2 SMILIY FACES GLUED TOGETHER AND THE HAND GOES BACK AND FOWARD AND THE FACES GO UP AND DOWN. THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYED PROJECTS. IF I COULD CHANGE ANYTHNG I WOULD HAVE MORE TIME AND HAVE A BETTER DESIGN.

The Leap Frog Skribbler

MY OBJECTIVE

I AM ONE OF THOSE PERSONS WHERE LEARNING ABOUT NEW THINGS IS FUN AND EXCITING!!!!!!
WHEN I HEARD WE WERE MAKING A SCRIBBLER I WAS LIKE WAT!!IS THAT. I WAS AMAZED AS I FOUND MYSELF ON A NEW ADVENTURE IN MARKERS LAND. A SCRIBBLER IS A MACHINE THE DRAWS A PICTURE BY ITSELF AND IS POWERED BY A BATTERY AND WIRES

MY MATERIALS

MARKERS (THIN OR THICK)(QUANTITY OPTIONAL)

BRADS(2)

A CARDBOARD WHEEL

WIRES

MOTER

HOT GLUE STICKERS

CLUE GUN

TAPE

WIRE STRIPPER

SCISSORS

PROCEDURES

1ST I COLLECTED ALL OF MY MATERIALS

2ND I STRIPPED ALL 4 OF MY WIRES

3RD I COLLECTED MY MARKERS ALONG WIT MY SICSSORS AND HOT GLUE GUN

4TH I TOOK MY SICSSORS AMD POKED HOLES INT THE CARDBOARD WHEEL

5TH I GLUED ALL 3 OF MY MARKERES INTO PLACE

6TH THEN I GLUED MY BATTARY IN THE UPRIGHT EDGE OF THE WHEEL

7TH I TOOK MY 2 WIRES AND TWISTED THEM TOGETHER WITH A BRAD

8TH WITH THE OTHER END OF ONE OF THE WIRERS I TAPED IT TO THE BATTEARY AND ON THE OTHER END THE THE BRAD CONNECTED TO THE MOTOR PRONGS THE OTHER IS CONNECTEDTHE THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOTOR PRONG AND THE OTHER END OF THAT WIRE IS CONNECTED TO THE BRAD AND THE 4TH WIRE IS TAPED TO THE BATTERYAND THE OTHER END OF THIS WIRE NEEDS TO BET CONNECTED TO THE BRAD BUT WILL BE ABLE TO DISCONNECT
9TH FIND A SMALL OBJECT THE CAN BE PUNCHED THROUGH THE MOTOR TO OFFCENTER THE WHEEL AND MAKE IT WOBBLE
